UK Circuits, celebrates 28 years of growth from ‘humble beginnings’

Leading Contract Electronics Manufacturer (CEM), UK Circuits, are celebrating their 28th year in business, reflecting on the growth since its founding in January 1997.
The Manchester-based manufacturer started off in a small 1,500 sq ft facility with six employees and three clients.
28 years later, UK Circuits are now in a state-of-the-art 20,000 sq ft facility, employing over 60 electronic specialists while servicing over 100 clients within a varied range of sectors.
Their Managing Director, Marc Ellis, even started as one of the company’s early apprentices, eventually working his way up to the operational management role in 2019.
“From humble beginnings to where we are now, UK Circuits are celebrating our 28th year in business. As someone who has been here from the beginning, it has been fantastic to grow alongside the company and witness just how far we’ve come” states Marc.
UK Circuits emphasise their commitment to preserving their legacy, ensuring that customer care and innovation is still at the core of their business model.
With their prominent position in the UK CEM market and their strong potential for growth through strategic investment, UK Circuits joined Light Science Technologies Holdings PLC.
With added financial backing and stability, investments in equipment, staff and training have been made, leading to even greater growth for the company.

UK Circuits offers comprehensive procurement services for clients requiring the manufacturing and testing of circuit boards, utilising both surface mount and conventional (through-hole) assembly.
With almost three decades of experience, they specialise in the manufacturing of high-quality electronic assemblies for integral sectors, with applications in sensors and monitoring, industrial, lighting, audio, pest control and leisure.
As we enter 2025, UK Circuits hopes to continue their legacy of innovation and continue meeting the evolving needs of customers in the electronics industry.
