Jack Goff storms to victory in Round 3 at BTCC Silverstone

Team Hard's Jack Goff stormed to a surprise win taking a first podium finish with the team in the final round at the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship, in a dramatic, rain soaked finale at Silvestone. 

What started as a dry race, the conditions swiftly turned very damp with drivers gambling between dry tyres or switching to wets. 

Making the snap decision early on to switch tyres, the decision paid off for Goff. Over the next three laps, a number of drivers chose to switch wets, giving Goff the opportunity to strike as the conditions worsened considerably and the only contention between three drivers, Goff took the opportunity to secure Team Hard's first ever win. 

Elated for himself and his team, Jack Goff said: “It’s unreal. I won my first podium with this team at Brands Hatch in 2013. It means so much for all of them. Things haven’t gone our way this year so I’m chuffed to bits.”
