Business Development Manager
ROLE BACKGROUND
The sites existing senior leadership team comprises of a Managing Director with oversight of Procurement and Estimating, and a Production Director that oversees the SMT and assembly teams. The company has invested in a number of business improvements within its operations to enable it to maximise its growth potential and is now looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to leverage this growth.
JOB PURPOSE
To focus on the growth of the business by extending the reach of our products and services, identifying new sales leads and building strong client relationships. The role will involve UK travel, particularly in the North of England.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Experience in sales and new business generation, with demonstrated success, preferably in the Contract Electronic Manufacturing or distributor B2B sector
- A detailed understanding of the CEM market including a reasonable technical understanding.
- Strong commercial acumen with an ability to maximise opportunities.
- Strong organisational, and personal skills.
- Strong communications skills with the ability to build client relationships in person and by telephone, rather than an over reliance on emails.
- Competent in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems
